Alusair: 399: In keeping with in accordance with fact 398, one should be grateful that a warlock has yet to take one off, as one would be pwned instantly.
GM: lawl

Alusair: yes
Alusair: lol
GM: lawl
GM: okay
GM: to be fair, it’s a big map
GM: and I should scale it down
GM: ...quite a bit
GM: :P
Alusair: apparently
GM: ...wth
GM: it’s only 200 kb or so
Alusair: [1d20 = 4]
Alusair: [1d20 = 10]

Azuras: that Azuras was over 8 feet tall
GM: Oh, yes
Azuras: :P
GM: Well
Azuras: my stats are better though
GM: I also failed to mention that he’s part Solar, too
GM: :P
Azuras: he just beats me slightly on str
GM: Yes, well, those stats were dummy rolls
GM: :P
GM: and do not properly reflect his racial modifiers
Azuras: actually.. nevermind.
Azuras: I beat him on a few stats, he beats me on a few
GM: so…yeah…I guess I can’t use my fun ma—-wait…maybe it only does bitmaps?
GM: or it would make the transfer quicker
Azuras: Maybe?
GM: because…did this load?
Azuras: Not yet!
GM: did we ever use an image for a map?
Azuras: no
Azuras: lol
GM: hm
Alusair: sweet.

Alusair: lol
GM: Ah, yeah

GM: That’s a good point
GM: hrm
GM: also, image quality just went to teh suck
Alusair: I mean, its not really, really hard
Alusair: its just annoying

Arothir: Eh
Arothir: It should be in the SRD
Shenvallei D’ansille: if it doesnt have it no biggie
Shenvallei D’ansille: ok
Alusair: take it away and I’ll scream, since its the only reason I can pull up descs on my spellbook
Arothir: eh?
Alusair: the SRD spellbook.

CAMPAIGN START
When last we left our intrepid heroes, they had just vanquished a Hellcat, and proceeded to open an ancient tomb filled with untold evil.
Kiergath (Alusair): oh lawd!
Shena Snowlock: lol
Arothir: You are roughly in the positions indicated on the map.
Shena Snowlock: where is the tomb?
GM: Doors surround you on all sides.
Alusair: Shen should be on one end of the tomb and I on the other
Alusair: since we just pushed/pulled the lid off
GM: Everyone’s a critic…
Shena Snowlock: I was just outside the door with Jess
Alusair: Also, why does the map seem to indicate there is a giant penis in the sarcophagus?

Shena Snowlock: lol
Alusair: or are you trying to say whoever was buried there is a dick?
Doug (Shena Snowlock): LOL
GM: ...yes.
Alusair: K
Alusair: No further questions
GM: Last time I bloody go out of my way to custom make my own map…
Alusair: I doubt that
Alusair: :P
GM: ...it very well might be!
Alusair: Might being the operative word.
GM: I’m not re-doing that damn paper graphic!
Alusair: Can we continue please? I don’t like bickering with higher powers
Alusair: :P
GM: ...
GM: Liar.
Alusair: true
GM: ANYHOW. Your move, gents and ladies.
Doug (Shena Snowlock): Nick grabed the copper dick, err tube inthe tomb if I remember right! :P
Kiergath (Alusair): Or w/e it was
Shenvallei D’ansille: Thats right I did. And I gave it a quick inspection and was walking back to the party.
GM: You regroup, and the copper tube is…essentially…a copper tube.
Alusair: am I right in interpreting that there is only one other door from this room?

GM: Nossir.
GM: There are four doors.
GM: Sorry if the pen is a bit weak.
GM: There
GM: Doors are circled
Alusair: investigate… the door… infront of me
You approach the northern door, and see that it too, is made of solid obsidian. It doesn’t seem nearly as thick as the one you just opened.
Alusair: Visible opening mechanism?
Shenvallei D’ansille: Yes Ill search the walls.
GM: Seems like a good shove might do the trick.
Alex: (POLL) Do you push open the door?
Alusair: o.o
Alusair: o wow.. circles
Alusair: EMPTY CIRCLES
GM: Indeed.
Alusair: no fair

Alusair: I clicked the right circle
Alusair: and the middle one filled in
Alusair: either way, in answer to your question, no, don’t shove the door open
Alusair: since people are looking around still
GM: The walls are, for the most part, barren
GM: Near the door you just entered, there are scratchmarks in the obsidian, spaced out like human hands.
GM: Other than those gouge marks, everything in the room is smooth.
GM: Well, barring the outlines of the doors, obviously.
Shenvallei D’ansille: Ill move over to Alusair.
Alusair: Righto. Shove the fucker open.
The door swings open, giving way easily to your push, spilling natural light into the room. Looking beyond the frame, you see the setting sun off beyond some mountains, at about eye level. Peeking down, you see the ground far below you, although it seems much farther away than you remember travelling. It seems as though some clouds occasionally get in the way of your view in every direction.
Alusair: ... That was fast

-> Alusair: I pre-typed that one. Booyah.
Alusair: Also
Alusair: Back the fuck up
GM: You do so.
Alusair: “We’re, uh, not taking that door.”
Shenvallei D’ansille: “Agreed…”
Shena Snowlock: Prolly a good idea not to
GM: The sight is incredibly breathtaking.
GM: Jess drops a pebble out the door, but it dissapears rather quickly.
Shenvallei D’ansille: I admire it for a moment.
Alusair: Open the next door
As you push open the door, there is a solid thud as it stops soon after. Before you, the sight is much the same as before, but there is a narrow walkway which trails off to the left.
Shenvallei D’ansille: I will stand ready.
Shenvallei D’ansille: Does the walkway have a railing?
GM: Yes it does.
GM: Solid Obsidian, no decoration.
Alusair: how narrow is narrow?

GM: Well, the pyramid continues it’s slope, so walking must be done on a slouch, but it’s seven feet wide at the base.
Shenvallei D’ansille: seven feet wide? No problem. “Shall we have a look Al?”
%{color:purple}Shena Snowlock:%Alusair sighs, “If we must.”
Shenvallei D’ansille: Ill proceed forward searching as I go for traps/triggers/runes/ect.
GM: You do so…make the rolls!
Alusair: In that case.. hang back behind him
Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): how do you make the movement lines change angle?
Kiergath (Alusair): Drag the first segment of your walking, then drag from the end of the segment to make the next.
Shenvallei D’ansille: Skill [Search] [1d20+6 = 17]
GM: You creep along, but don’t spot any traps.

Shenvallei D’ansille: Proceed forward then.
GM: Azuras elects to stay behind.
GM: You proceed forward until you get to the corner of the pyramid. The walkway suddenly narrows as it turns the corner.
Shena Snowlock: can you scroll the map please?
Kiergath (Alusair): thats sort’ve why he sucked everyone off the edge, methinks.
Shenvallei D’ansille: I will slow as we approach the corner, pay a glance to Al and Snowlock and then peek around it.
GM: It seems that there is some sort of low, two foot high opening where the pyramid meets the walkway
Shenvallei D’ansille: “Hmm.”
GM: [1d20 = 4]
Doug (Shena Snowlock): Can you move G down here too
Doug (Shena Snowlock): thanks

Shenvallei D’ansille: Does the opening look crafted or bored out as if an animal did it?
Kiergath (Alusair): pleased to be marking where this opening is?
Alusair: I want to meet an animal that can bore out a 2 foot opening in solid obsidian plz.
Shenvallei D’ansille: 2 foot tall how wide?
-> Alusair: ...plz to be watching what one wishes for.
GM: About four feet wide.
Alusair: ... no.
Alusair: :P
Alusair: After all, Shen’s on point :P
GM: It looks completely smooth, and square.
-> Alusair: Oh, you don’t want to encounter the Obsidian Antlion yet? Okay
Shena Snowlock: hmm
Alusair: mm… antlions…
Shenvallei D’ansille: “Does someone want to crawl in there and take a look?”
Alusair: ”...”
%{color:purple}Shena Snowlock:%Shenvallei D’ansille looks at Snowlock
%{color:purple}Shena Snowlock:%Alusair looks at Snowlock.
Shena Snowlock: why me?
Shena Snowlock: Is this a short joke?
Shena Snowlock: sigh
Shena Snowlock: fine
Alex: A short joke? Eh?
Shena Snowlock: Make sure you feed G if I get dead
Alusair: “Sure.”
Shena Snowlock: I make my way into the tunnle
Shena Snowlock: tunnel

Shena Snowlock: feeling my way carefully
%{color:purple}Shena Snowlock:%Alusair watches as Snowlock disappears into the hole.
Shena Snowlock: I go very slow
%{color:purple}Shena Snowlock:%Shenvallei D’ansille whistles a tune.
GM: You crawl forward to the opening. It looks to be a tight fit. Beyond is a dimly lit room, with wooden objects strewn about in disarray. There appears to be a layer of dust coating everything, and a layer of sand coating the floor.
Shena Snowlock: much nicer looking map
Kiergath (Alusair): <un-buries>
Alex: Sorry about that.
Shena Snowlock: I tell them what I am seeing/feeling in the tunnel
You find that, shortly after you’ve crawled in, you can stand up.
Shena Snowlock: I can stand now
Shena Snowlock: Can I see anything, how big is this area?
GM: It’s about 30 by 30 feet.

Shena Snowlock: Any other doors int he room? Anything else int he room?
The room you’re standing in once was a strategy, map, or war room, as well as being a study. The furniture is rather diminuative in size at best, but is still servicable for a human to sit in. The walls are lined with rotting books, and dust hangs about in the air like a curtain, almost making you want to choke. There are no doors, or any other exits other than the way you came in.
Shena Snowlock: I call G and the others to come here to the room
%{color:purple}Shena Snowlock:%Alusair leans over the obsidian railing and spits down towards the ground.
Shena Snowlock: explaing the room to them
GM: I’m not quite so sure that your cat will fit through the opening.
Shena Snowlock: OK
Shena Snowlock: he can wait out
Alusair: 2 foot high by 4 feet wide?
Shena Snowlock: and guard
Alusair: I should hope he can
GM: You’d hope.
Doug (Shena Snowlock): The cat is 4.5 feet at the shoulder
Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): really? I didnt imagine him that big
Shena Snowlock: He is a Large Tiger
Alusair: Uh huh. And I’m almost six feet high. I can still crawl, so can a tiger.
Shena Snowlock: he can stay and guard
Shenvallei D’ansille: Regardless I will crawl in after Snowlock and stand next to her.

Shena Snowlock: Looks like an old war room
Shena Snowlock: for a small person
Shenvallei D’ansille: I will walk over and begin searching the bookshelf.
Shena Snowlock: I will look at whats on the table/Desks
GM: You find, on the table, what appears to be a map of the first two floors of the pyramid.
GM: The bookshelves are filled with rotting books, although a few pieces of paper are salvagable, and among them you find two Scrolls – The first, Heroism, and the second, Lightning Bolt.
Shena Snowlock: Hey look I got a map of this place
Shenvallei D’ansille: “By Corellon’s great bow! Look at this knowledge!”
Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): what level spell is heroism?

Alex: 3rd.
Shena Snowlock: same as Lighting bolt
GM: Listen checks, everyone!
Alusair: Skill [Listen] [1d20+5 = 20]
Shena Snowlock: sec
Shenvallei D’ansille: Skill [Listen] [1d20+2 = 20]
GM: [1d20 = 8]
Shena Snowlock: seems my skills are not on the mini anymopre
Shena Snowlock: Skill [Listen] [1d20+8 = 13]
GM: You all hear a faint stirring of dust in the room, near the center of the table.
Shenvallei D’ansille: Quickly pocket the scrolls and look at the dust.
Shena Snowlock: I back up quickly
On top of the table, slowly drawing itself up into a vortex, is a vast quantity of red sand, lazily swirling, coming from all parts of the room. It gathers form more and more quickly, until it vaguely resembles a humanoid.

Doug (Shena Snowlock): OMG! BATMAN HELP! its the SAndman!!! /panic
Alex: Alas, there are no noble dolphins around to save you this time…
Alusair: detect evil..
GM: Every particle of sand begins to show an ominous shade of red.
Shenvallei D’ansille: Can I determine what it might be using my knowledge skills? (dungeoneering/the planes)
Doug (Shena Snowlock): Hmm what other movies… The MUMMY! I HATE MUMMYS!
GM: Roll for it, Shenvallei.
Kiergath (Alusair): I know! I know! Predator, Predator 2, AvP and AvPR! “You are one ugly mother fucker!”
Shena Snowlock: :P
Shenvallei D’ansille: Skill [Knowledge (Dungeon Creatures)] [1d20+7 = 9]
Doug (Shena Snowlock): Hmm.. red glowing sand…
GM: You ascertain that it is some sort of…elemental. What kind of elemental, you’re not quite sure. It might be a water elemental, or maybe light.
-> Alusair: So yes, it is evil.
Alusair: I gathered.
%{color:purple}Shena Snowlock:%Alusair draws sword, waits for it to finish becoming … uh… whole.
%{color:purple}Shena Snowlock:%Shena Snowlock knocks an arrow ready to let fly
GM: Right, roll initiative then.

Alusair: Initiative [1d20+2 = 17]
Shena Snowlock: Initiative [1d20+5 = 25]
Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): where is initiative?
Shena Snowlock: main page
Shenvallei D’ansille: Initiative [1d20+5 = 20]
The creature you’re facing is roughly humanoid, nine feet tall, wielding a single Khopesh, a wicked, curved sword, with a large scimitar strapped across his back. A long, curved dagger, more sword than knife, is strapped to his upper theigh. He appears to be wearing no armor.
GM: Shena, if you choose to act, now would be a good time.
Shena Snowlock
Shena Snowlock: I will hold until I see it’s intentions
GM: To give you guys some sort of idea as to turn declination
GM: I’ll give you a map.
GM: There you go.
Alusair: huh?
GM: Hm?
Shenvallei D’ansille: Initiative order.
Alusair: <blink>
Alusair: what, the client tracker isn’t good enough for you people?
Shenvallei D’ansille: the what?
GM: I didnt know if you guys got the client tracker
Alusair: yeah
Alusair: third button, first column, top right
GM: Cute

Alusair: name, init, relative health
Shenvallei D’ansille: dope that works.
Shena Snowlock: sweet
Alusair: :P
Doug (Shena Snowlock): fuck my 19” monitor is to small for all this :P
Alusair: I know the feeling
Shenvallei D’ansille: change your rez
Alex: I like the fullscreen option, though, for sure.
Shena Snowlock: may have to try and set up duel monitors
Doug (Shena Snowlock): Yeah I am in full screen
Doug (Shena Snowlock): I am at 1900×1400 I belive Nick
Shenvallei D’ansille: heh
Doug (Shena Snowlock): or what the hell ever it is
Shenvallei D’ansille
Doug (Shena Snowlock): I am holding my attack if ya did not catch that
Shenvallei D’ansille: Delay.
Alex: You delay!
Alusair
Alusair: You’ll never guess
Alusair: but
Alusair: Delay.

GM: WHo would have thunk it.
Doug (Shena Snowlock): OMG! I had no idea you wre gonna hold too! WEE!
Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): I think its some kind of mephit.
Kiergath (Alusair): Yeah. Could be.
Alusair: ... Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot. MEPHIT?!
Doug (Shena Snowlock): Kinda tall for a Mephit… I am thinking Djinn! Alex is trying to kill us!
You all stand around with your heads up each others arses, and the man comprised of sand completely forms. He takes one look at Shena, then lets loose a baleful screech which sounds like the wind tearing through a brick home.
Kiergath (Alusair): I think its a gelatinous cube.
Kiergath (Alusair): in.. disguise…
He then leaps forward, swinging his Khopesh.
Shena Snowlock: Phew! Dude get a mint!
GM: +1 holy scimitar [1d20+11 = 12]
GM: +1 holy scimitar [AUTOMATIC MISS]
Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): deff not a mephit
Shena Snowlock: FIRE ALL CANNONS! FORWARD SHIELDS UP!

Alusair: Damn the cannons. HELM, RAMMING SPEED!
His sword slices through the cieling, sending shards of obsidian flying down around Shena, and covering her in obsidian dust, but otherwise leaving her unscathed.
Shena Snowlock
Shena Snowlock: Fucker! I let fly with my arrow
Shena Snowlock: Master Crafted Composit Longbow (Attack 1) [1d20+9 = 16]
GM: You fire!
Your arrow goes wide, piercing the spine of one of the few intact books left on the bookshelves, tearing it asunder with your mighty strike.
Shenvallei D’ansille
Shenvallei D’ansille: Ill cast chill touch imbuing Luna and command her to attack.
Shenvallei D’ansille: Spell [Chill Touch] -> One touch/level deals 1d6 damage and possibly 1 Str damage.
Alusair: I’m going to kill that sodding cat.
Shenvallei D’ansille: Can she attack this round?
GM: Sure, why not.
Shenvallei D’ansille: Luna’s Attack (Attack 1) [1d20+1 = 7]
Shenvallei D’ansille: Luna’s Attack (Attack 2) [1d20-4 = 14]
Shenvallei D’ansille: Luna’s Attack (Attack 3) [1d20-9 = -2]
Shenvallei D’ansille: that came out wrong
GM: Yes, yes it did.
Shenvallei D’ansille: not sure of her attack bonus
Shenvallei D’ansille: but she gets 3 attacks
Shenvallei D’ansille: prob the same as mine.
Shenvallei D’ansille: so let me fix and reroll sorry.
Luna hurls herself at the man, flying beneath his legs and skittering out through the small opening onto the cat-walk.
Alex: (Har har har)

Alusair
Shenvallei D’ansille: well it wont let me adjust it
Shenvallei D’ansille: nm
Alusair: Close in, take a swing
Alusair: Bastard Sword +1 (Attack 1) [1d20+11 = 18]
Alusair: moving on
Alusair, you close, and you swing, effectively stirring some dust in the process!
GM: +1 holy scimitar [1d20+11 = 19]
The khopesh arcs through the air, narrowly splitting a hair from Shena’s head, sending it drifting slowly towards the ground.
Shena Snowlock
Shena Snowlock: Shoot again
Shena Snowlock: Master Crafted Composit Longbow (Attack 1) +10 [1d20+11 = 14]
Doug (Shena Snowlock): WTF!
Alusair: Tell me about it
Another arrow goes wide.
Shenvallei D’ansille
Doug (Shena Snowlock): sigh
Shenvallei D’ansille: Ironstaff of Scorching Ray (Attack 1) [1d20+7 = 22]
Alex: On the plus side, he hasn’t hit you yet!
Doug (Shena Snowlock): Yeah!
Shenvallei D’ansille: Hit?

GM: [1d20 = 11]
GM: sec
-> Alusair: Boss, SR, how’s that done again? I can’t remember, ever.
-> Alusair: Rather, elemental resistance
Alusair: errr.. depends on how its written.
Alusair: If its just DR fire 10 / -, it takes 10 or w/e the number is off the top
Alusair: If its 50%, it cuts the damage done in half
Alusair: If its spell resistance, the attacker rolls a d20, + caster level, + feats, and has to beat your SR score. If he doesn’t, it does nothing.
Doug (Shena Snowlock): The Libary is empty to me btw, just so you know
Kiergath (Alusair): you haven’t opened the books.
Alusair: In this case, it would be 1d20 + the caster level of the person who created the staff he’s whoring.
The lance from your fire staff singes the man in the back, turning part of it into a glossy obsidian.
Shenvallei D’ansille: Ironstaff of Scorching Ray (Damage) [4d6-4 = 5]
Shenvallei D’ansille: gotta fix that -4 dont include that :P
-> Alusair: Unfortunately, he doesnt get it for much longer. :P
Alusair: Wonder if he’ll think to keep it.. Vrischika could probably recharge it at her shop.. of course, she’d charge him through the nose for it.
Players have requested permission to load ‘d20 Basic Rules’
Alex: Go with the SRD!
%{color:purple}Shena Snowlock:%Shena Snowlock: k
There is a slight hiss, and the obsidian turns back to skin.

Alusair
Alusair: Move back into range.
Shena Snowlock: As a free action I call for G
Shena Snowlock: Thats if we detremed that he will fit
Alusair: . . . he should
Alusair: Bastard Sword +1 (Attack 1) [1d20+11 = 13]
GM: Your cat will wriggle into the library next round.
Alusair: right, wake me up when the combat’s over
Doug (Shena Snowlock): Boss… fire those fucking dice
Kiergath (Alusair): I’ve hit once since we ditched ORPG.
Shenvallei D’ansille: Let me know if Luna can attack again this round.
GM: Luna can attack next round.
Doug (Shena Snowlock): I think I have only hit once too…
GM: +1 holy scimitar [1d20+11 = 15]
GM: On the plus side,
GM: He can’t hit you either!
Shena Snowlock
Doug (Shena Snowlock): :)
GM: G is now in the library
Shena Snowlock: I let loose another arrow
Shena Snowlock: Master Crafted Composit Longbow (Attack 1) [1d20+10 = 29]
GM: and acts with Shena
Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): nice roll Doug
Shena Snowlock: If that dont hit I quit :P
Kiergath (Alusair): as an aside, due to Alusair and Shena’s position, we should have him flanked, no?
Shena lets fly her arrow true, and it travels five feet, to bury itself in the man’s chest.
GM: Damage?
GM: Yes, you should.
Shena Snowlock: sec

Shena Snowlock: Master Crafted Composit Longbow (Damage) [1d8+6 = 13]
Shena Snowlock: Does G hit too?
The arrow sinks in deep, and obsidian crackles in spiderweb patterns around the man’s wound.
Alex: You want me to roll for your cat?
Alex: eh?
Shena Snowlock: You not see my wisper?>

GM: er
GM: nossir
Shena Snowlock: Let me try again
Shena Snowlock: get that?
Doug (Shena Snowlock): it is just /wisper right?
Alex: Whisper, yes
Alex: Or it should be…
-> Shena Snowlock: Snowlock You get this?
Shena Snowlock: got it
Alusair: or /w
Shenvallei D’ansille: kiergath test
Shenvallei D’ansille: yeah its /w
Shena Snowlock: Well just pretend your not hearing this
Shena Snowlock: Because of the cats high int I think it is best that you run him as a psudo NPC
Shenvallei D’ansille: Shena Snowlock test
Shena Snowlock: I can roll his attacks thats fine but you did it last time
Shena Snowlock: thats why I asked
Alex: Got it
Shena Snowlock: I did not want to assume anything
Shena Snowlock: :)
Alex: Oh, did I?
Shena Snowlock: Yes you did, you had him mangle that archer and then hold the caravan master
GM: If you had your cat on your char sheet, sure.
GM: Oh, that…
Shena Snowlock: I will add him to the sheet then
Shena Snowlock: but where at?
Shenvallei D’ansille: Inventory. Thats where I put my familiar.
Shena Snowlock: OK

Shena Snowlock: I will add him then as we go along
GM: Alright.
GM: [1d20 = 16]
GM: [1d12 = 8]
GM: A roar, a flash of obsidian, then three veins of black appear across the man’s chest.
Shenvallei D’ansille
Shenvallei D’ansille: Firstly I command Luna to Attack.
Shenvallei D’ansille: Luna’s Chilltouch Attack (Attack 1) +1 [1d20+2 = 4]
Shenvallei D’ansille: Luna’s Chilltouch Attack (Attack 1) +1 [1d20+2 = 10]
Shenvallei D’ansille: Luna’s Chilltouch Attack (Attack 1) +1 [1d20+2 = 11]
Shenvallei D’ansille: bah misses.
Shenvallei D’ansille: Ok. Then I carefully steady my staff and blast another ray at the man.
Shenvallei D’ansille: Ironstaff of Scorching Ray (Attack 1) [1d20+7 = 16]
Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): my turn to roll bad it seems.
Doug (Shena Snowlock): On this next attack round I will need to take my 20 min AFK because Leslie is home
Luna flies past in a ball of fur again, and barely misses getting singed by the ray.
Alusair
Alusair: Or +11 if flanked. [1d20+9 = 10]
Alusair: Irrelevent. Moving along
Alusair: Nothing to see here folks.
%{color:purple}Shena Snowlock:%Alusair trips and rolls into the corner, ending up head-first in the wall.
GM: Couldn’t have said it better myself.
GM: +1 holy scimitar [1d20+11 = 13]
Kiergath (Alusair): Figured Iwas better off if I got to it first.
Alex: Probably

The khopesh ends up tearing up the floor at Shena’s feet.
Shena Snowlock: Ok folks be back in a few
Shena Snowlock

Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): these dice hate you Morgan.
Alex: They hate me too, apparently.

Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): Im reading on page 141 of the PHB 3.5 that ranged and melee touch attacks in combat ignore armor, shield, and natural armor bonuses. Only Dex and creature size come into play.

Alex: Yeah, that makes sense.
-> Alusair: Pry gonna wrap it up after this combat, though, for today.
Alusair: fair enough
-> Alusair: I’ll still be around, but I have homework I’ve been neglecting.

Alusair: yup, yup
Alex: Hmm…
-> Alusair: La la la…
Shena Snowlock: OK back and I have the Tiger added into my inventory at the bottom so I can try and roll his attacks like nick with his Famila
Alex: Someone ping nick?
Shena Snowlock: Claws (Attack 1) [1d20+4 = 6]
Shena Snowlock: hmm that did not work like I thought
Shena Snowlock: thats a test btw
GM: [1d20 = 3]
GM: [1d20 = 15]
GM: [2d6 = 6]
GM: [3d8 = 10]

GM: Okay, so, G tears into the man, leaving obsidian streaks across his chest.
Shenvallei D’ansille
Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): back sorry
Alex: No worries.
Shena Snowlock: OK
Doug (Shena Snowlock): I can roll for him from now on if you want me too
Shenvallei D’ansille: I level my staff at the man and blast him again.
Shenvallei D’ansille: Ironstaff of Scorching Ray (Attack 1) [1d20+7 = 10]
Shenvallei D’ansille: Luna get an attack as well right?
GM: Yes
Shenvallei D’ansille: Luna’s Chilltouch Attack (Attack 1) [1d20+1 = 20]
Shenvallei D’ansille: Luna’s Chilltouch Attack (Attack 1) [1d20+1 = 20]
Shenvallei D’ansille: Luna’s Chilltouch Attack (Attack 1) [1d20+1 = 8]
GM: The cat gets three attacks at the same bonus?
Shenvallei D’ansille: its a monster, claw claw bite standard bonus same as mine
Shenvallei D’ansille: melee touch attacks
Shenvallei D’ansille: up to you if you allow it
GM: Sure. Just making sure.
GM: Roll damage on two.
Shenvallei D’ansille: Luna’s Chilltouch Attack (Damage) [1d6 = 6]
Shenvallei D’ansille: Luna’s Chilltouch Attack (Damage) [1d6 = 5]
Shenvallei D’ansille: I thought up the combo myself so if you want to modify/disallow it let me know.
Doug (Shena Snowlock): No, 2 claws at the same bonus and a bite at +4
Shenvallei D’ansille: hmm ok even better
Shenvallei D’ansille: her natural damage is negligible Im just using the chilltouch damage.
GM: You do so.

GM: The man hisses like a snake slithering across the sand.
Alusair
Doug (Shena Snowlock): Go Morgan, go Morgan! cheers
Doug (Shena Snowlock): with Pom Poms even
Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): Finish him off Morgan.
Alusair: +2 if flanked. [1d20+9 = 27]
Doug (Shena Snowlock): Fuck yeah! nice hit!
GM: Roll damage, Morgan.
Alusair: [1d10+14 = 21]
Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): thats what Im talking about.
Doug (Shena Snowlock): Maybe the Pom Poms helped!
Kiergath (Alusair): Yes.. yes they did.
Doug (Shena Snowlock): What you not talking now Morgan? Oh there ya are!
Alusair’s sword, swinging in a broad arc, buries deep in the man’s left arm, dropping it to the ground, both wounds fusing from blood to obsidian in a matter of instants. Droplets of obsidian sprinkle onto the floor.
GM: +1 holy scimitar [1d20+11 = 24]
In retaliation, the man’s Khopesh arcs down, connecting solidly with Shena with a sickening slice.
GM: +1 holy scimitar (Damage) [1d6+4 = 5]
Kiergath (Alusair): My bad.
Shena Snowlock: Owie!
Shena Snowlock
Shena Snowlock: Son of a pebble! I let fly another arrow!
Shena Snowlock: Master Crafted Composit Longbow (Attack 1) [1d20+10 = 13]

Doug (Shena Snowlock): %#$x%x$^#x%x$&O(({_){)_&^%
Shena Snowlock: Should I roll for G or does he go last>‘
GM: Roll for G.
Shena Snowlock: well lets hope this works
Shena Snowlock: Claws (Attack 2) [1d20+9 = 18]
Shena Snowlock: Claws (Attack 1) [1d20+9 = 12]
GM: One hits!
Shena Snowlock: Bite (Attack 1) [1d20+4 = 13]
Shena Snowlock: Claws (Damage) [1d8+6 = 8]
Alex: LOL…Aflac apparently wants me to interview with them
Shena Snowlock: Hehehe
Doug (Shena Snowlock): cool :)
Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): the best commercials
GM: A small slice opens up on the man’s leg.
Shenvallei D’ansille
Shenvallei D’ansille: Fire yet another ray at the mans flank. I carefully aim this time and fire.
Shenvallei D’ansille: Ironstaff of Scorching Ray (Attack 1) [1d20+7 = 10]
Shenvallei D’ansille: “He is too fast!”
Doug (Shena Snowlock): You have to keep your eyes open when you shoot… :P
Shenvallei D’ansille: Luna’s Chilltouch Attack (Attack 1) [1d20+1 = 8]
Shenvallei D’ansille: Luna’s Chilltouch Attack (Attack 1) [1d20+1 = 20]
GM: He is, all the while, standing still.
Shenvallei D’ansille: Luna’s Chilltouch Attack (Attack 1) [1d20+1 = 6]
GM: another attack hits!
Shenvallei D’ansille: Luna’s Chilltouch Attack (Damage) [1d6 = 1]
GM: And barely phases him.
Alusair
-> Alusair: The cat is stealing all the good rolls.
Doug (Shena Snowlock): Cheer for MOrgan with Pom Poms!
Doug (Shena Snowlock): Goooooooooo! Team!
Alusair: +2 more if flanked. [1d20+8 = 20]

GM: Hit!
Alusair: righto
Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): FYI chill touch is save or lose a point of strength in addition to 1d6. I just read that. No worries carry on.
Alusair: ... [1d10+16 = 26]
Alusair: Eat me.
GM: ...eh?
Alusair: Teach him to ignore me.
Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): hes talking to his dice.
Alusair: I get very bitter when ignored.
Doug (Shena Snowlock): Sweet goodness dont give him any ideas MOrgan!
Alusair: Why did I ever consider giving up my two hander…
Alusair, channelling her fury at being ignored for so long, whirls her sword through the air, driving it straight through the man’s neck, causing it to fly off and shatter into obsidian chunks on the wall, as the rest of his body slowly solidifies and smashes apart when it hits the floor.
Shena Snowlock: Thank the trees!
Shena Snowlock: Search the body pieces
Shenvallei D’ansille: “What manner of creature was that thing?!”
Shena Snowlock: Skill [Search] [1d20+9 = 14]
Alusair: “A spirit? A golem? An elemental? Who knows. Its dead.”
Shena Snowlock: Aye
Shena Snowlock: Glad it had poor aim or I would be worse for wear then I am
GM: You come up with about a gallon worth of obsidian shards
Shena Snowlock: bah
GM: and some poor quality rubies
GM: about the size of eyeballs.
Shena Snowlock: w00t
Shena Snowlock: how many?
GM: Two.
Doug (Shena Snowlock): some is pretty vague.. 50 or 60? :P

Doug (Shena Snowlock): :D
-> Alusair: Did that work?
Shenvallei D’ansille: “I suggest we move on. Unless anyone needs to rest.”
GM: [30d20 = 369]
Shena Snowlock: Sure, we want that map?
Alusair: Hmm?
-> Alusair: Tried to send you a feat description.
GM: Hm…
Shenvallei D’ansille: I examine the map and try to get a bearing on our location.
Alusair: I see nothing.
Shena Snowlock: It is a map of the first two floors of this place
Shena Snowlock: Al? We ready to leave>
Shenvallei D’ansille: “Indeed it is. This will no doubt come in handy.
Alusair: “Don’t see why not..”
Doug (Shena Snowlock): Nice map work Alex :)
Alex: Thank you! I put some time into it.

Alex: Alright, so, this is a good enough spot to take a break. I’ve got some homework I’ve been putting off, and I have work in 7 hours.
Shena Snowlock: OK
Shena Snowlock: Sounds great
Alusair: K
Alex: it’s wierd, but my favorite thing on this map is the coffee ring
Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): Fine by me.
Shena Snowlock: What day next do we want to try and play?
Kiergath: Hmm.
Nick (Shenvallei D’ansille): Im free tommorrow thru thurs. I have to work fri-sun night so those are out for me.

GM: [1d20 = 1]
GM: [1d20 = 12]

GM: The char is on my end
