This spell toughens the recipient’s hands to a near-iron state, granting them a +1 bonus to hit and a +3 bonus to damage with unarmed strikes, as well as making those unarmed strikes count as a magic weapon for purposes of overcoming damage resistance.

While the spell is in effect, it is impossible to cast spells requiring somatic or material components.
